I’m originally from Little Rock, Arkansas, and spent several years living in Dallas, Texas. Teaching has always been a passion of mine—even during my time in the business world, I gravitated toward roles focused on training, teaching, and developing others. For most of the last decade, I worked in education and training positions in the business world, always enjoying seeing a participant have that “ah-ha” moment when something finally clicked for them. Seeing others learn and grow brings me true excitement.

In 2024, I decided to channel that passion into working with a younger audience. My journey began with substitute teaching, which quickly led to a long-term substitute position. The fulfillment I experienced during those few months confirmed that this was the right path for me. Beginning in July 2025, I’m excited to officially step into my role as a science teacher at Owensboro Middle School.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA). I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Teaching at Western Kentucky University as I continue developing my skills in education.

Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud father of two adult children. My son lives in San Antonio, Texas, and my daughter resides in Little Rock, Arkansas. In 2024, my son and daughter-in-law welcomed my first grandchild, a grandson I’m lucky enough to see nearly every night through video calls.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy spending time outside with my wife, relaxing at home, spoiling our cats, and catching up on TV. I’m also a big sports fan and love following all the Dallas professional teams, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and Crystal Palace in the English Premier League.
